Re-Signing will be a rule where out of all the players from your team that are schedueled to become FA's you may choose one to re-sign. When you re-sign a player, you may only sign him to a one-year contract. The amount of money he would make for that one year contract is the same amount of money the player with the highest salary at that position makes, +2 million.
FOR EXAMPLE(Not Real Salarys)
The Phoenix Coyotes decide that out of all their FA's, they want to re-sign Keith Yandle. Yandle is a defenseman, so they have to see who has the highest salary for a defensman. Zdeno Chara ends up having the highest salary for a defenseman at 12.4 million, so Yandles new contract would be....
12.4 mil + 2 mil for one year
14.4 mil for one year. That would be Yandles new contract.
RE-SIGNING RULES
1.You may only re-sign ONE of the players from your team about to become a FA.
2. Re-Signing is not mandatory, so if you do not want to re-sign any of your upcoming FA's, you do not have to.
3. If the re-signing puts you over the cap, you may not re-sign that player.
4. The re-signing preiod would be fore 3 days before FA starts.
This is my suggestion, and this would make this league a LOT better, there would still be good FA's but teams would be able to keep franchise players.

It will now be 3M more than the players original contract for example: if a players contract is 5M it will now be 8M

Also, along with the change that it will now be 3M more than the players original contract, you may choose to re-sign a player for either 1 or 2 years. Justin and I agreed on this.

In order for this rule to pass, Jack must agree to it, since the other LM, Justin, has approved it
